Forms,services,reports...after import

Hi all

After import the .exp file to the new repository, i have done following steps

1./con
2./obj
3./all
4. Analyze the model

But in my development env, i cannot see the forms when i click forms. but when i execute select * from uform in the sql editor it displays the forms in my application.

what wil be the reason for this. is there incorrect assignment settings in my IDF. my IDF

[FILES]
usys:idf.aps usys:..\components\idf.aps
usys:uu*.frm usys:..\components\uu*.frm

or is there any further step to do...!!
remember my repository exp is from informix and i have loaded to oracle env.

Hi,

do you have migrate the repository after import? There is an menu item at Go To->Administration->Migrate.

Be aware of another point. when you change the uniface version and you have the dict loaded (for example also in your export), load the new version from usource.xml and umeta.xml.

Otherwise something can go wrong, especially you have an DICT from u8 in u9!

yes i have migrated the repository, but remember ,,im migrating from uniface 7.2.06 to 8.4.06.
i have loaded the mentioned trx file and again migrated.
but same as previous, in uniface development env, when click forms nothing displayed

Have you checked the settings of $IDF in the ASN are valid for the oracle database the source is now in?

yes i have connected to the correct DB in IDF

what should i do any more???

Hi meththa,

if I remember it well, there was a bug with the migration from 7 to 8 (??); a variable was set to NULL.

I used the following SQL-script:
update UFORM set UINHERIT = 'F'
